Description
PAV, the Palisade Art vision board will install four sculptures on the black pedestals to begin a new public art program in Palisade.
The first four artists are Dave Davis, Gary Hauschulz, Steve Kentz and Lyle Nichols. We believe these four pieces will change the character of Main Street.
PĀV intends to promote and embrace “Art as a part of our everyday life.” PĀV’s goals begin with the installation of these four sculptures on Main Street. Plans are to rotate this exhibit annually, inventory other area art installations, identify corridors and locations for additional pieces and access sustainable funding.
Thanks go to the Town of Palisade for the pedestals, Palisade Chamber of Commerce for promotion, FCI and Nathan Hale for installation and the artists for their commitment to the arts and many local donors for their support of this inaugural program.
