Description
This is the Official Vendor Signup of the 2023 Palisade Peach Festival (The Festival). Please Read the Below Agreement. By completing this application you acknowledge and agree to abide by the following rules.
RULES & REGULATIONS APPLICATION INFORMATION Please read through all the items listed below carefully.
The Palisade Peach Festival is held outside, and exhibitors are encouraged to be prepared for inclement weather with shade, uv protection, adequate hydration, appropriate rain covers, tie-downs and weights. Temperatures exceeding 100 degrees F, wind gusts, and rain are highly possible during this festival. There is no rain date, and no refunds given in the event of inclement weather.
Booth space ? allotment and placement: I understand that The 2023 Palisade Peach Festival holds a 55 year tradition and WILL BE a ?Juried Festival?. Space is limited. Jurors will give priority to vendors who provide goods and services that celebrate the tradition of the peach harvest and support the mission of The Festival. I understand If I am not accepted, my fees will be returned to me in full. I may request a specific location, however the space I request cannot be guaranteed and last year?s space will not be automatically granted and may not be available. All assigned vendor spaces are final and cannot be changed. WE WILL NOT SWITCH VENDORS AROUND!
All sales items ? pre-approval: I understand that I may only sell items that have been pre-approved by the Palisade Chamber of Commerce and if not, my booth may be shut down, vendor booth space fee will NOT be refunded, and I may lose the privilege of participating in future Palisade Chamber of Commerce sponsored events. Festival organizers reserve the right to refuse a vendor who arrives at the festival site with an unattractive or oversized display not meeting the requirements set forth in the application.
Electrical access: I understand that electricity is limited. I only get ONE ELECTRICAL OUTLET that cannot be used unless paid for prior to the event. I understand that even though I have paid for electricity it is on a first come, first served basis. I understand that I am responsible for providing my own HEAVY DUTY electrical cord of at least 100 ft.
Sales tax ? State of Colorado: I understand that I am responsible for paying all applicable taxes to the State of Colorado and that the Palisade Chamber of Commerce will provide the State of Colorado with a list of all vendors registered to participate in Peach Festival 2022.
I will have my Special Event Sales Tax license with me at the festival.
Booth info, decorations, shade awnings, ?guy wires? & trailer tongues: I understand that decorating my booth is encouraged and that my decorations, shade awnings, ?guy wires,? and trailer tongues may only extend no more than one (1) foot beyond my assigned space. Booth set up is Friday, August 18th beginning at 7:30 AM and should be completed by 11:00 AM. I understand I am allowed 30 minutes of unloading time. Personal vehicles are not permitted in the booth area during event hours. Vendors must park all vehicles, including tow vehicles, in available parking areas. Failure to check in by 10:00 AM on Friday may result in loss of booth space unless prior notice with staff has been cleared. PLEASE BE AWARE OF TRAFFIC CONDITIONS AND ARRIVE ON TIME. Tear-down prior to 8 PM on Saturday, August 19th is prohibited. Venue must be vacated by 10 AM on Sunday, August 20th. No exceptions. Exhibitors must leave their space in the same condition in which they received it, free of trash or other debris.
Photo Release: I agree to waive any/all rights to any photos or images taken of me and my booth during the 2022 Peach Festival. I understand that the Palisade Chamber of Commerce may use these photos for promotional purposes.
Wristbands: I understand I will receive 5 vendor wrist bands these are not festival passes and are only to be used at times when individuals are working at a booth. Additional wristbands will only be provided on a case by case basis and only to employees.
Alcohol, tobacco products or paraphernalia, and laser lights: I understand that under no circumstances are the following items to be sold by me at the 2023 Palisade Peach Festival: alcohol, tobacco products or paraphernalia, or laser lights.
Refunds: I understand that I will receive a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee, for canceling before June 13, 2023, and after that date there will be NO REFUNDS, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Insurance: Vendors must carry their own liability insurance policy to cover their booth, product, rented space and staff.
Food Vendors
In an effort to ensure the success of food vendors, we have limited the number of food booths at the festival to approximately 15 vendors. We also look very closely at each submitted menu. At least one peach specialty food item and/or drink must be included on your menu. Out of respect and in fairness to all vendors, only pre-approved items may be sold.
Food vendors must submit a separate application to Mesa County Public Health (MCPH) after being accepted. Applicants will not be allowed to participate in the festival unless they have been approved by MCPH. Ice is now considered a food and those serving only drinks must also meet all MCPH requirements and obtain approval.
Propane tanks must be secured and/or chained together as needed.
A minimum of one K-Guard and one 10-pound ABC extinguisher is required at booths cooking with oils. A minimum of one 10-pound ABC fire extinguisher is required at all food vendor booths using open flame. EXTINGUISHERS MUST BE TAGGED FROM THEIR ANNUAL INSPECTION.

Alcohol sales are prohibited beyond restricted area.

Outside alcohol is not permitted.

Subleasing of booths is not permitted.

No overnight camping or sleeping in vehicles in the park.

Your booth must be setup prior to start time. Booths not setup prior to festival start will forfeit their spot. No late setups or arrivals and no early breakdowns or late departures.
With completion of this application I hereby apply for booth rental at the 2023 Palisade Peach Festival. I have read this application in its entirety and understand all provisions. I understand and comply with the conditions set forth and agree to the rules and regulations of the 2023 Palisade Peach Festival and the codes and laws of the Town of Palisade. I understand I will be immediately removed from the Peach Festival without a refund if I violate any rules or regulations. I release and hold harmless the Palisade Chamber of Commerce, the 2023 Palisade Peach Festival, the Town of Palisade and associated entities from all liability including, but not limited to, theft, personal injury, death to persons, or damage to property resulting from acts or omissions by any vendor, its agents or employees, and natural disaster. I understand that this application does not guarantee a space at the Festival and that my money will be refunded if not selected.
