DESCRIPTION:Join us for an informative Lunch & Learn focused on the future of workforce development in Palisade. This session will highlight how local education and industry partners are preparing the next generation for meaningful careers.\n\n\n\nCrystal Green\, Career Pathway Coordinator at Palisade High School\, will share how she connects students with internships and apprenticeships\, as well as the programs she is implementing to help students earn certificates and credits that set them up for success beyond graduation.\n\n\n\nWe will also hear from Jeff Pieper\, Extension Area Specialist in Commercial Horticulture and Natural Resources with CSU Extension. Jeff will discuss how he works with interns and apprentices in hands-on agriculture research and how those opportunities support both student growth and the needs of our agricultural community.
